In mid-June, my college friends and I traveled to Indy to celebrate our dear friend Erin’s wedding reception! Erin and her wife are a perfect match and complement each other in the cutest way. We danced the night away with these two newlyweds at Canal 337 in Indy. I’m so excited to share their wedding day details and invites!
Erin and Kate were looking for a modern, elegant invitation suite to match the style of their save the dates. Their wedding colors were gold and black, so I wanted to mix and match these colors on different elements of the suite. I used bold lettering paired with hints of a script font for a modern look. I snuck in some polka dots printed in black ink on a matte black paper to create the belly bands. The black printing on black paper was continued with the maze envelope liners. These Gold Leaf envelopes from Paper Presentation are the perfect tone of gold, and I used this color for the details card as well. The suite was finished up with a custom E&K stamp in gold metallic ink.
I also designed little favor tags for possibly my favorite wedding favor I’ve ever received. Glazed donuts are the perfect follow-up to 4 hours of dancing : )
